WIN to make your own 60 second history films

All you have to do is name your EPIC era and tell us about it; you can write about it, draw it, make a model or even film it! There are other fun prizes to be won too. See ‘how it works’


Prizes To Be Won

  • The winning entry will have their EPIC era made into a series of 60 second histories films. The winners will help write, direct and even star in the films, which will then be shared on the 60 second histories’ website for all schools to use.

Runner Up Prizes

  • The History Squad will run 1x half-day workshop on location at the winning school
  • 5 EPIC History runner up goody bags to be won

  • Entries must be through the website
  • Competition is open to all UK mainland schools
  • Deadline for last entry is midnight 31st March 2016
  • Winners will be announced on the website 3rd May 2016


  • Name your EPIC ERA (i.e your most favourite era in history)
  • Choose a topic, event, theme or even character from your EPIC ERA
  • Tell us about it in the most interesting way you can
  • You can write it, sing it, draw it, create it, film it - whatever works best for your topic and era
